The Welsh exam board WJEC have put my adaptation of Robert Swindells novel, STONE COLD on as a set text in their GCSE Drama spec. Especially good news as Robert, Andy Kempe (editor) and I, donate the royalties for this publication to Centrepoint)

My company, SplinterActive, received a high commendation at the NHS Positive Achievement Awards and for our radio production workshops with patients from a Low Secure Unit.

We’ve also won an NHS Quality Award for Innovation & Improvement for our training DVD, ‘Manifesto The Movie’. Watch movie trailer here!

My adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk produced by Pelé Productions appeared at three major venues. (I was Chesney Hawkes’ mum in Grimsby this year)

Ran a series of Writing workshops for the Bluecoat Arts Centre.

Worked with 13 amazing young actors at The Wilderness Centre in Gloucester to write and record, “I’m an Old Has Been, Make Me Famous Again!”

Organised the Premiere of ‘Manifesto the Movie’ at the Liverpool One Odeon

Played The Tin Woodman in the Wizard of Oz at the Lowry Arts Centre with Lorna Luft as wicked witch.
