A Slice of Shelly’s Life
A Slice of Shelly’s Life
In this case it would be high school homecomings. Marching bands, cheerleaders, parades, school spirit, the court, the king and queen. Sure the hair and clothes have changed. The slang has changed. The bleachers? Still cold and uncomfortable. Everything else remains just as it was back in my high school days. We had a great evening. Katelyn had special “credentials” for the school paper and was busy on the track and on the field taking pictures that her editor has already told her will be on the front page. No pressure there, huh? She managed to sneak some fun in too. The JROTC represented well with a sword arch for the homecoming court. I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.

Somethings haven’t changed a bit.
