Welcome to: www.rosebankfriends.org! This site is run by Rosebank Parent Council.

Please have a look and see if you can find a way to get involved, by helping at an event, coming into school to assist in the classroom, helping in the garden, or just by coming along to support our fundraisers. Have you some energy, ideas or a skill you might be able to contribute? We’d love to hear from you! Parents, friends, Grandparents, all are welcome...email your ideas, or have a chat with one of us in the playground. Click on contacts for a list of current members.

A Parent Council is the   statutory body responsible for representing parents' views. Parent Councils replaced the system of School Boards and PTA.

All parents who have a child attending a school are members of the school’s Parent Forum. The Parent Forum elect the Parent Council which then meets regularly. All parents are welcome to attend Parent Council Meetings, and are encouraged to find ways to contribute to life at Rosebank School. Check out our upcoming events. For  more info about parent council click on constitution, or minutes for details of meetings and reports.

For the Rosebank School website, click here: www.rosebank.highland.sch.uk

Look on the school website for newsletters, active schools, and other important information.

New purchases agreed:

-shorts and socks for school strips,

-matting for around the biggie’s trim trail so it can be used year round.

Next meeting is 16/06/10, 18:30 at staff room, all welcome.

We are still fundraising towards our goal of interactive whiteboards for every class, 7 to go now, but we are also funding playground improvements, other IT equipment, art materials, school tracksuits...please support our Fundraising Events to help make Rosebank a brighter more exciting place for our children.

The best way to find out what’s happening at Rosebank and how you can get involved is to come to the next parent council meeting. They are informal, friendly and everyone is welcome.

If you volunteer for an activity around the school, email me some photos and we’ll include them here. We’d like to hear from you!
