10/15/08 updated: My hubby and I have been married 8 years and have recently welcomed a 3yr old Ethiopian boy into our family. His name is LT (Lincoln Tadiwos) and he is fabulous. We also have three wonderful cats, Tango, Pismo, and Milo who LT is not all that fond of. Join us on our adventure called LIFE!
2/08 - Applied to CHSFS and TFN
3/1 - TFN adoption class and 1st homestudy meeting
3/17 - Homestudy interviews and house examined by TFN
4/22 - Homestudy completed by TFN
5/6 - Homestudy reviewed approved by CHSFS
5/12 - Officially waiting for referral of child (boy or girl) between 0-3 years old
6/10 - Referral for Tadiwos Tamirat - 3yrs old on July 16th 2008
7/30 - Through the Ethiopian courts. Tadiwos is ours.
8/21 - Rcvd Birth Certificate and Travel Date
9/25 - Leave for ET
10/3 - Meet our son for the 1st time.
10/10 - Home forever!
