Dear Parents,

    Last week we made thank you cards for Veterans.  We received a nice acknowledgment note from the Peterborough VFW as our cards will be delivered to shut-in Veterans. As you may notice on the homework page, I am holding off on assigning more vocabulary activities until December.  Not only do we have short weeks, but we need to focus on completing integrated science and social studies activities in a timely fashion. We have a computer project scheduled in mid-December and we need to be coming over on the Mayflower by then, therefore we need to spend extra time over the next week or so to devote ample time to the explorers. The turkey trot is next Monday.  We collect a canned good from each student who’d like to participate in this fun race and they “trot” for a chance to win a turkey.  It is lots of fun!  Have a great week.
