Dear Parents,

It is somewhat hard to believe that the school year is coming to an end.  This will be the last web page I will write for the year!  First, I would like to thank you for coming and supporting the students in their Authors’ Tea.  It was a much greater turn out than I expected and wonderful support for the authors!  Secondly, I would like to thank you all for the support you provided me and all the students throughout the year.  Education is truly a community effort and cannot be done by teachers alone. 

Remember to sign your child up for the summer reading and math programs this week.  It is important to know who will be attending so that proper instruction and curriculum and be developed to meet the needs of all attending students.  If your child is not participating in the summer reading program, please encourage them to continue reading over the summer!

I hope you all have a relaxing and fun-filled summer.  I look forward to seeing you all in the fall!

The end of the year is quickly approaching and items for the AR auction are greatly needed.    Your child would be the best judge of popular items, but here is a list of possible items:

Gel pens

necklaces

nail polish

hair items

lip gloss

gift certificates to Steeles, Toadstool, Sweet Spot, Ava Marie’s, etc.

sporting equipment: baseballs, soccer balls, footballs, etc.

Candy: Nerds, Gobbstoppers, ect.
