I was born and raised in Japan till 18.  I flew the Pacific over to Hawaii for 18 months, and then to South Australia to complete my bachelor degree.  I started working at an environmental consulting firm in early 2007. 

Friends, relationship, work, church...life in Adelaide was great.  But my passion for baking kept growing bit by bit...

“It will be so much fun if I could bake more and see more smiles with the sweets I make...”

By the time I decided to study baking, it had been almost 7 years since I left Japan. 

“It may be interesting how I will take the culture and life style in Japan again after all these years...besides, I like the sweets over there...“

So with those thoughts and the encouragements from others, I applied to a 1 year baking course in Japan and moved to Osaka in 2009 April. 

I will be going back to Adelaide in 2010 April to resume my work as an Environmental Scientist again. 

Never know how my baking skill will be used during my life, but hey, it’s my hope and will to be a puzzle piece in God’s plan. 

The big picture is His!
