Photography

The picture above was taken using a Voigtlander Bessa R3A and a 40 mm Voigtlander lens, film was a Lomo 100 ISO colour daylight.

Photography is a life long passion. I first started taking pictures with a medium format Russian made camera when I was eight years old. Even then, I enjoyed composition, mood and Black and White. I learned these skills with my father who was also a keen photographer.

Todays digital cameras have opened up photography to everyone. My aim has been to replicate, in digital form, the look and feel of the traditional darkroom. I’m taking more and more images with film during 2011, and I just love the anticipation.

Please feel you can give any feedback good or bad! Thanks for stopping bye.

2012

2011 has been a year to rediscover film. Lomography and Medium Format has been the challenge. 2012 will be about a photo-shoot in Australia.

I have posted a mix of digital, 35mm film and 120 film images on this site. I use CS4 to finish images but I keep away from over processing my images. Most effects is caused by the camera, film or set up of the camera.
