Founded in 1990, we celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2010.

The Rural Missouri Spinners is a family of friends who love all aspects of the fiber art world.  From raising the animals that produce the fiber... to fiber processing... to all the fiber arts:  spinning, weaving, felting, dyeing, knitting and crocheting..... we try to do it all.

The RMS is open to anyone who wants to participate, learn and share.  Members are from (but not limited to) the Franklin, Gasconade and Crawford County, Missouri area.  Benefits of membership include a yahoo discussion group, newsletter, regular meetings on the farm, community events and demonstrations, workshops, field trips and an active knitting sub-study group.
