Spirit Of Prophecy

Not a word given in a church service, not the expression of one's gifting, not just being the vehicle for the "prophetic" word, or even a witnessing "for" Him but a life that has become a witness "of" HIm - the enabling of power of the "seven Spirits of God"..." And my speech was not in the enticing words of man's wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and power"..."beholding as in a mirror...." When we become the mirror of the testimony of Jesus, then we will manifest to the world the "spirit of prophecy" from glory to glory.... Could the time be closer than we think when we will be "lifted" up into His Presence in such oneness with Him that that His testimony will become ours and cause an explosion of manifested power through the "spirit of prophecy" ...... " till all come in the unity of the faith..... to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ... speaking the truth in love ...... growing up in Him ....."

Hear His Voice

They (you know, those ever present "they" people) have discovered that a significant part of our DNA structure is a detail History that goes all the way back to mankind's beginnings. That mean many things but two come to mind immediately. Some very "wise" scientist are soon to discover that primordeal pond scum is NOT our beginnings. The history of our original parents is right there for all to see and will undoubtably have a lot to say about the "theory" of evolution. But of much more interest to me is the simple fact that that part of our 'historical" DNA has recorded the sound of God walking and speaking in the cool of the evening to our original parents. And I believe that, by faith, I can activate that sound in my life. I am sure that once the Blood of Jesus touched my DNA that everything that was lost in the garden was restored - so the sound of His first Words to me through Adam are still there to be heard.....

The Testimony of Jesus Is The Spirit Of Prophecy

"The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy". What was Jesus' testimony? The most amazing testimony of Jesus is that He is the first Person on this planet to truthfully declare "I only say what I hear My Father say and only do what I see My Father do". Jesus' testimony is that His Father's love and life flowing in and through Him always had precedent over any other thought or feeling in His life. So the thoughts and feelings of weariness and hunger He had as rested "at the well" were completely set aside ("let us lay aside every weight...." Heb.12:1) and HIs Father's feelings and thoughts of love for that "samaritan" woman immediately became His focus...... AND once the Father's desire to express His love on her became HIs desire, once the Father's passion to lift the religious chains off her became His desire THEN Jesus began to release the "spirit of prophecy" over her. And, since the testimony of Jesus - His total unity with His Father- was the testimony of not only His words but His whole life, when He "prophesied" over the woman at the well, living water flowed from His innermost being, out His mouth and she ( and her city) was forever changed......AND He was the "firstborn of many sons .....And "as He is so are we in this world"..... AND "come to me...and drink .... and out of your innermost being will flow rivers of living water". Oh how the Body of Christ, how we need the real, true "spirit of prophecy"...... and it's here and coming more but only from those who have the real, true "testimony of Jesus".......

Just A Drink

She was in the "pits" and, no doubt, "cherished" today's daily trek to the watering hole about as much as she did a wicked headache. Not in a mood to talk to anyone, she was relieved that the only one at the well was a rather tired looking Jew. She could take the distain today- just go about her business and be on her way. And then He did something none of the hundreds of other Jews she had seen at this well do . He spoke to her and (she is still not sure He really said this) He asked for a drink. Little did she know that His goal was not to "get" a drink but to "give" a drink and not just to her but to her entire town. ............ So you're in the "pits" and not "cherishing" today's daily trek and maybe you're hoping that everyone will just distain you today so that you can just go about you're business and be on you're way....and.... you happen to see some who needs a "drink" probably be a good idea to respond ..... you never know what could happen........

Declarations For 2009

1. Ephesians 1:2 – “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ , who has blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” My Father blesses me with every good thing. “If I know how to give good gifts to my children, how much more shall my Father who is in heaven give good things to me who ask Him (Matt7:11)

2. I am “ heir of God and joint-heirs with Christ” – so I am equal with Jesus in all that He inherited from God the Father. I am part of a “ chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people who and I show forth the praises of Him who called me out darkness into his marvelous light. (1Pet. 2:9) So I live by faith in the covenant relationship I have with God. I am not trying to be blessed, or healed or prosperous, I already am. “I am blessed with every spiritual blessing…” in every area of my life. I have it. He paid for it. My name is already there.

3. “You have chosen me , that I should go and bring forth fruit and that my fruit should remain, that whatsoever I ask of the Father in your name, He will give it to me” (John 15:16. “ I abide in you, and your words abide in me, so I will ask and it will be done for me”. (Jn.15:7) I am not conformed to this world’s system, but I am transformed by the renewing of my mind. I prove, by declaring and demonstrating, that your will for me is good, acceptable and perfect. I will continue to ‘behold’ the word of God because is the portrait of who I am. I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. I am dressed and equipped for supernatural living.

4. The weapons of my warfare are mighty in God for the pulling down of every stronghold… so I take the mighty authority of God and I pull down every false and lying attachment to my identity in Christ. My reputation, authority, fame, strength, acceptance, significance, ability rest in His doing not mine. So I bind my mind, emotions and will to the sound of His voice in me and I turn away from every other voice that would vie for my attention. I will use time to entertain no other thoughts except those connect to the Kingdom and His righteousness.

5. God’s system is God’s blessing and it “makes me rich and adds no sorrow with it” (Pr.10:22). “I am of faith and blessed with faithful Abraham. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me…that the blessings of Abraham might come on me through Jesus Christ; that I might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Gal.3:13-14)

6. I walk in the Blessing when I am a blessing. “ So I will Never return evil for evil, or insult for insult, but on the contrary blessing . I want to enjoy life and see good days so I will keep my tongue free from evil and my lips from guile.” (1pet.3:9-10). I bind my emotions to respond to the need to be more loving than right and I take authority over every foothold of self protection in my heart.

7. “No weapon formed against my family will prosper. A hedge of protection guards their health, their homes, their hearts. I call for their destinies and declare that nothing shall separate them from your love. I speak to the spirit in every member of my family- let faith in Jesus rise up in your hearts, let your guidance come from the leading of His Spirit in you, and let your inner man hear the sound of His voice. I break the power of wrong agreements in your lives and loose and destroy any curse spoken against you. I bind your mind, will and emotions to hear and respond to the thoughts, passion and plans that your Heavenly Father has for each of you.”

8. I have faith that the works that Jesus did, I shall do and even greater works shall I do… whatever I ask in Jesus’ Name, that will He do for me.. I will stay in the place of blessing.. “ I am a righteous man who lives by his faith and in His faithfulness” (Hab.2:4). I will take the steps of faith to stay in the God’s plan. He has called me to gather. So I do not worry about my provision. I ask for Kingdom access , I seek the Kingdom strategies , I knock on Kingdom doors and by continual faith in His Righteousness in me, I will receive, find and open Heaven’s will for every area of influence He has given me.

9. I walk in Divine health. My wife and I are one so she and I are full of Divine health. I cover my body from head to toe with every ounce of victory that Jesus won for me through the bruising of His body. My blood system is infiltrated with His royal blood and therefore His royalty flows in every system in my body. I am also a dispense of divine health, I will release Love’s passion for healing wherever I am confronted with sickness.

10. Wisdom abides in me, so I will abide in Wisdom. I ask for and expect Wisdom’s counsel and direction for The Shepherd’s House family. Each person’s process of experiencing and maturing in their freedom in Christ will grow much deeper this year. Avenues for expanding the Kingdom both corporately and personally are already stored in our hearts and will be released and pursued with passion all through out this year. The Shepherd’s heart in each of us and our corporate call to be apostolic servants to our region will become clearer and stronger. Our gathering times will grow in number and intensity with an every increasing sense of God’s manifest Presence in our midst.

11. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I shout for joy because I am full of trust in You. I awake every morning in joy. I go about in joy and I fill my day with joyful thanksgiving. Your Presence - Your glory that fills me – Your faithfulness, Your strength in me, Your Hope in me, Your breath in me – this is my joy. I celebrate with exceeding joy my faith in Your Name. So joy will be my portion regardless of what my circumstances may be. In joy I expect the manifestation of your promises in my life and those I bring to you. I ask in Your Name and receive so that my joy will be full. (Jn.16) As I abide in Your love through out my day I will notice my joy remains even when ‘life’ or the enemy speaks otherwise.

12. I declare a consecration of my time in 2009 to You, Father. My times (ps.35: 14) are in Your hands – My every day times and my opportune times I commit to Your leading. I bind myself to the look for and live in the times and timing of the Lord and I loose every demonic assignment to fill my time with fear. I choose to move into the rhythm of your heartbeat. My seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months – my January, February, March, April, May, June, July. August, September, October, November, December of this year are Yours, Father. Holy Spirit, You will lead me into a greater understanding of your timing for me and others you have placed in my life. I will not miss your many opportunities as You will give me eyes to increasingly see Your times and seasons through out this year.

13. I love You with my whole heart, soul, mind and strength. I renew and discover the spirit of worship in my heart. I thank you, as I seek to daily dwell in Your Presence that You will draw me into Your heart and teach me how to open up all my dry places and drink in the goodness of your love. I look forward to frequent times spent with You charged with the atmosphere of Heaven. Your fresh anointing in my life and Your songs of deliverance over my life will grow with increased intensity through out this year as beholding Your beauty becomes the one thing I desire more and more.

14. You have not given me a spirit of fear – Your leading in me, Holy Spirit, is for me to know that Abba’s power works in me, Abba’s love totally sustains me and Abba’s mind and my mind are continually in tune. So all my supply this year will come to me according to Your riches and glory in my Jesus. You are my Shepherd and I will not lack in anything. I look for ways to give beyond all my fears and I know that You are able to make all grace- your enabling - to abound toward me, so that, always having more than enough, I am able to abound in every good work with thanksgiving.
