I am currently seeking an industrial design position which will eventually transition into design management and strategy.  More and more, I have been applying my strong lateral thinking skills  towards designing complete customer experiences.  This includes the design of all “touch-points” the consumer encounters during the purchasing/ownership process (industrial design, package design, POP, advertising, online experience, product support, etc).  I strongly believe a well-designed product integrated with a complete customer experience is the key to success in todays marketplace.

My process for any type of project is the same.  I love doing research to explore visual cues for the project at hand. After that the sketches start flowing!  When I have a bunch of great ideas things get narrowed down and rendered in illustrator or in photoshop for photo realism.

I have quite a large variety of industrial design projects under my belt.  I have experience in eyewear, furniture, home accessories, bags and watches. I am also quite familiar with traveling for development and trend research.  Projects have taken me to factories and tradeshows in Paris, Milan, Tel Aviv, Osaka, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

I originally started my design career working at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories as a three month intern.  This stay was extended into three years due to my innovations in the interactive retail program.  I have also recently rekindled my interest in interactive design the development of various online projects.

I was lucky enough to be cast as a designer & host on 32 episodes of the ABC Family television series KNOCK FIRST.  KNOCK FIRST was a lightning fast, half-hour, do-it-yourself show where contestants age 16-24 transformed their outdated rooms into cool pads with my exclusive design direction and on camera personality.  I was the designer and host of the show and my episodes were seen all across the United States as well as various other worldwide outlets.
