Syllabus

Midterm 1 on Monday October 19th will cover Sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5. The following Fact Sheet will be attached to the exam for your convenience.

Midterm 2 on Friday November 13th will cover Sections 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.7. The following Fact Sheet will be attached to the exam for your convenience.

The Final Exam on Monday December 7th at 8AM will cover Sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4 (including trig-substitution), 7.5, 7.7, 8.1, 8.2 (only the part on volumes of revolution), 8.6 (only ‘’present and future value’’ and ‘‘income stream’’), 11.1, 11.4, 11.5. The following Fact Sheet will be attached to the final for your convenience.

Review Sessions for Final Exam on Thursday December 3rd:

On this page you can find all the assigned homework problems. There are two types of homework problems. Those that will be graded, and those that are additional. It is however in your own interest to do ALL homework, as most questions on the tests will come from the assigned homework problems.

Homework

No late homework will be accepted.  Your homework grade will be given based on the maximum of (i) and (ii) below.
(i) The sum of your four homework grades.
(ii) The sum of your three highest homework grades plus 3/4 times the average grade of your three best assignments.
