A very popular way of photographing waterfalls is using a long shutter-speed in order to capture the movement of the water. This requires that you have at least a tripod with you and a neutral density filter on the lens in order to eliminate camera movement and overexposure of the sky. In this case the photographer has take the shot with a short shutter-speed freezing a large amount of the water. At the same time the sky is already overexposed, which is typical for these kinds of scenes.
But with Pixelmator we can improve this photo further by faking the motion of the water using the motion blur filter at the same time we will increase the saturation and contrast of the whole scene without overexposing the sky further.
