XGrader was born after attempts to find a grade book application for my wife to use in her teaching. The only solutions that I could find followed the basic design of a spreadsheet. My goal with XGrader was to create something that was easy to use and also offered a more functional display of information. Features include:

1. •Student Table: lists the names and current (or final) grades. Special font coloration gives feedback of special conditions such as sub-par grades and attendance problems.
   

2. •Student Info Window: enter and view all details about a student.
   

3. •Assignment Grades Window: allows easy entering of assignment grades for a class.
   

4. •Automatic Letter Grade Calculation: letter grades are calculated automatically for both individual assignments and overall grade.
   

5. •Attendance Table: track attendance issues. Special font coloration of students’ names gives feedback of excessive attendance problems based on preference settings that you choose.
   

6. •Grade Customization: easily mark assignments as ‘Drop this grade’, use Pass/Fail for a student instead of letter grades, and raise a student’s final letter grade.
   

7. •Reports: generate class grade and individual student reports.
