The South Dakota Conference of the United Church of Christ has nearly 12,000 members within its five associations and 87 churches. New Church initiatives are active in the Sioux Falls and Rapid City areas of the conference. Placerville Camp and Retreat Center offers year round program in the Black Hills. Two lay ministry education and learning centers operate out of Eagle Butte and Yankton. The Conference Office is in Sioux Falls, with our Associate Conference Office in Rapid City. Two local churches, First Congregational UCC Sioux Fall with Camp Krof and Bryant UCC with the Prairie Retreat Center offer “East River” retreat settings.
