Thanks to everyone who came out in 2009. We had 71 players compete from April through October.

Dave Kuhrt and Robin White tied with the most wins with 4 apiece.

Gary Dropcho had the lowest average score with and impressive 47.0.

Wednesday Night League:
is a recreational league run by the Pittsburgh Flying Disc Society (PFDS) with the goal of promoting the sport of disc golf. The league uses handicapped scoring so that players of all skill levels have a chance to win prizes and score points.
Rounds will be played from the white tees except for the first Wednesdays of each month, May through September, when rounds will be played from the blue tees. The white tees are the farthest concrete pads from the baskets while the blue tees are marked by blue boards in the ground and lengthen the holes considerably. A modified handicap system will apply on blue tee nights where players handicaps will be adjusted upwards. The blue tee rounds will not contribute to players normal handicaps. A $4.00 entry fee goes to golf disc prizes for the top third of players the evening of play. A $1.00 optional ace pot fee goes to anyone who throws a hole in one (usually two or three a year). Tee off is at 6:00pm from the first hole at Schenley Park. Players typically gather around 5:45pm to sign-up and warm-up.

The ace pot is capped at a $100 payout until $200 is in the pot. Money from $101 to $200 will go to a second ace pot for the next ace. Any money added once $200 is in the fund will go back into the current ace pot. This way we will not be starting from scratch after someone hits an ace. If multiple aces are hit on one night, the entire ace pot will be split evenly for each.
