A Day in the Life in Japan
A Day in the Life in Japan
Living overseas in Japan has been an adventure! I have lived here for over 10 years. I have taught students that range in age from 6 months(!!!) to over 70 years old. I have lived in apartments that have probably been condemned and demolished by now. I have been through several cell phone companies: j-phone, au, docomo, and now softbank. I’ve eaten everything from fish semen (shirako) to raw horse (basashi). I’ve traveled from Tokyo to the tip of Kyushu, Okinawa. I’ve been an ALT, a night school (juku) conversation teacher, a private teacher, and a university lecturer. I have met and married the love of my life and become a father.
Jason came to visit this past spring and we drove from Tokyo to Oita! Video to come someday soon!
Living in Japan:

This page is dedicated to recording and sharing the adventure with my friends and family both here and back home, as well as anyone interested in teaching overseas or living in Japan.
