Today was Roarke’s first day at his new school.  He loves getting ready and hopping on the bus.  He thinks he’s such a big kid.  His teacher and the aide transferred to his new school so he has some familiar faces. 

He must of had a ton of fun because he was asleep by 7:30 which made for a very relaxing evening for us. 

I really hope with him being back in school and the added benefits of speech and occupational therapy, that Roarke will make a lot of progress this year and be able to start kindergarten on schedule.  So far the his speech therapist is making wonderful progress with him.  He’s really trying to talk now and we couldn’t be happier.  Of course that means that we are hearing a lot of no’s but that’s better than nothing.  In fact, it’s music to our ears.

On top of all this, I started school too.  It’s a lot tougher this time around.  Juggling school, home, and two boys is not easy but I’m taking it one day at a time.
