The CFMC Christmas Party will be Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the Manor House Restaurant in Mapleknoll Center. We will gather around 6:00 p.m. and eat at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $20.00 per person. We will have the elite buffet with roast beef, etc. Our program is: Jerry Dowling, who was the Sports Cartoonist for the Enquirer for 28 years. He will bring samples of his cartoons along with some of his books to sell. He also will draw caricatures of some of those present. His books (The Big Red Machine, Johnny Bench and The Bengals) are $30.00 each if you choose to buy them. Talk-in on the club repeater. RSVP to W8OUU at w8ouu@hotmail.com or call at 513-825-1254. WARN (Weather Amateur Radio Network) is the local weather spotting organization associated with theNational Weather Service. WARN operates on 146.88 upon request from the NWS. WARN conducts a training nets on the same frequency on first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM local time during severe weather season. |
Club meetings are held the first
Wednesday's of even numbered months
at Mobilcomm, 1211 W. Sharon Road, Greenhills, OH at 7:30 PM local
time.
Meetings usually consists of a short business meeting followed by a
program of
interest to hams. Recent programs covered topics such as Field Day,
Packet
Radio, Digital Cellular Communications, UHF Repeater Design, and a tour
of Air
Care at University Hospital. Our tradition is to have a family oriented
dinner
and program for the December meeting.
