Ridgewood Unplugged is a local concert series featuring the village’s best musicians performing in the unique and intimate setting of the historic Ridgewood Schoolhouse Museum.

Built in 1872, the building served as the local schoolhouse, and became the village’s museum in 1955. However the building has another unique feature: it has tremendous acoustics, making it the perfect venue for live music. Musicians perform in an “unplugged” format, likely continuing a long tradition of entertainment in the building over the centuries.

The performers and staff volunteer their time, and all proceeds from the Series benefit the Ridgewood Historical Society, which operates the Museum.

Season VI features a new theme - “Apollo XIII”, where performers have 13 minutes to play music released during the Apollo Moon Walks (Apollo 11-17). This was perhaps the most explosive and diverse 30 months in music history (Hard, Prog, Country Rock; Motown, Pop, etc) from July 1969 - Dec 1972.
