We used a location I haven’t worked at before in London called Mount Pleasant Studio. It was great, nice size. Big thanks to Alastair the spark, he worked really hard for me. Will MacNiel is designing the CG backgrounds and it was very interesting for me to design and light the foreground scenes to match. “Client is very happy... it's all worked out very well” - (Anthony Levene, Producer, Spirit Media)

This beautiful part of the world is rarely visited by westerners because of strict border controls. The Abkhaz declared independence in 1991 and a war followed between themselves and Georgia. Now it’s only ally is Russia. The film airs as part of the People & Power series on Al Jazeera English next week.

It featured actress Katie Funk in some light hearted sketches showing some of the problems and misconceptions new mothers have. Filmed using my Letus 35mm adapter, a lot of the film had a baby point of view using a 15mm Fisheye lens. I also used a 24mm and 50mm for other more conventional PTC’s.
