Northenden Players Theatre Club (NPTC) is based in Northenden, Greater Manchester and has been in existence for over 60 years. The Players have, until recently, been in their own theatre in Boat Lane for over 50 years.

The Theatre, which was in an outhouse of the Tatton Arms on the banks of the River Mersey, seated only 57 and had no wings - the dressing rooms were above the stage. However six plays have been performed there each season from September to May with each play put on for seven nights - Sunday to Saturday.

However the lease was not renewed at the end of the 2007-08 season and the players have now re-located to the Northenden Methodist Church Hall in Victoria Road, Northenden.

The membership stands at over 340 and there are over 260 Season Ticket holders
