LCTMA is pleased to announce that we will be adding Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) testing at our facility.  Not only will we provide this service for some of our patients with possible nerve damage, etc., but also for other physician referrals.

NCV tests record the responses of sensory and motor nerves in the extremities to electrical stimulation.  The studies are used to identify and aid in the diagnosis of entrapment syndromes, peripheral nerve lesions, and neuropathies.  There are significant differences between sensory and motor nerve conduction that depend on differences of anatomy.

Ask us in the office if you have any questions regarding this new feature!

Recently, I have noticed that High Level Athletes in almost every sport have chosen to make Chiropractic care a part of their training and lifestyle. We can look at the Tour de France, professional and collegiate football, Olympic Decathlons, and even water polo as incorporating Chiropractic care as a part of the teams healthcare programs.

I also see that the amateur athletic world seems to embrace the need for this type of care because of the demanding nature of their training as well. The trickle down to youth sports programs is very exciting. Parents are jumping onboard to see that their kids receive the best care possible.

Our practice has an onsite physical trainer, sports massage therapists and of course myself who will diagnose any musculoskeletal injuries or possible future strains or sprains to do overuse.

So, don't delay, give us a call. We will speak to your team and are ready to offer some sideline care!
