Bill Says:
“I’m very excited to be returning to the Seasons, for two concerts--one with the traditional jazz trio (with Martin Wind, bass & Matt Jorgensen, drums), the other with my Inventions Trio (Marvin Stamm, trumpet & Alisa Horn, cello). Inventions and the jazz trio will also “combine forces” with members of the Finisterra Trio to play new material written especially for this occasion: a jazz arrangement of Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite (for violin, trumpet, two celli, percussion, bass and piano), a new piece dedicated to the Yakima Valley, a reading (with musical underscoring) by Doug Ramsey and a two-trumpet number featuring Stamm and Ramsey!
