Dunta Robinson
Dunta Robinson
I am sure that dunta robinson is a great cornerback, but should the 2llth ranked player be traded to gain a 1st round pick?
In most leagues the keepers are the top players off the league.Of course ,like everything else, our league is different. The league voted not to let any team keep any player they wanted. We restricted keepers to position and amount. This was the the “ not another Fluffy Bunny rule”
This has left some quality players in the draft even though 84 players have been kept. If a keeper trade can be made a quality player could be drafted. Due the potential windfall to a team the league has to monitor these trade carefully.
This the league assessed the Psychos-Eliminators trade
1. The 84 kept players are not truly the best 84 players. The are many quality players players available, some ranked as high number 4
2.Conservative approach
Assume that approximately the top 10 players have been kept
psychos empty slot equals draft pick 11 (actually draft pick 1)
robinson is rated at 211
we leave the 2nd pick to eliminators at 112
thus the odds look like this
eliminators on top team 1
and psychos on bottom team 2

does look very good does it
lets try a more aggressive approach
The first player available is actually ranked number 4,so lets move first draft pick up to the number 4 slot, and the second pick to eliminators will be 18th player chosen as it stands now. Well the 18th players rank is 50 so we will change the 112 to 50.
we will assume the other picks are close to their ranks.
the results

again the trade is quite unbalanced
I know how Eliminators and Psychos have believe in fair trades. The league could not approve this unbalanced trade. The teams should try again, but Psychos will have to offer a lot more .
