PHOENIX, AZ --March 22, 2012—A painting of Alice Cooper graces the most recent cover of Arizona Golf Central Magazine. Jason Keesling, Publisher of Arizona Golf Central Magazine stated, "The cover was a collaborative effort between Alice Cooper and the brilliant art work of Paul Skellett from Wonderland Publications. There's an art to a good magazine cover, and Keesling enjoys being a little adventurous with them. This cover created a platform for the much-loved Alice Cooper rock fans and Alice Cooper golf fans to unite for the Alice Cooper cause, Solid Rock. The artist, Paul Skellett said, "We are looking to auction the original painting in aid od Solid Rock. It was actually music that got me into art. To me they are one and the same, images are sound tracks and vice versa--they hit the same nerve for me, they are emotional triggers". Skellett's art has been exhibited in both the British Embassy in Paris as well as the British Embassy in Tokyo. He is an artist with his head in the clouds and his feet on the ground. His work is about compelling art that succeeds in exploiting a contemporary execution while maintaining classical and poetic vision. The whole concept of Solid Rock is close to Skellett's heart. "When I was younger, I had a rock band called The Reign. It was tough to keep it going--no money, no encouragement and no direction apart from the intensity of our dream, and that's what amazes me about the power of music, it transcends. Alice has formed an organization that helps tap into that common thread of energy that can elevate, inspire and deliver people beyond their imagined expectations. Time on your hands with no direction is a dangerous thing. The life skills and spiritual fulfilment these kids can attain from Solid Rock will serve them for the rest of their lives, and their kids as well. You have to lead from the top, and that is what Alice does so well! "
