I started my career as the lead singer of the band ‘The Chimes’ . Fame followed quickly with hits like

“I Still Haven’t Found What I’ m Looking For “ and “Heaven”. I then went solo and released two albums: “Pauline” and “Do Over”. Hits include Feel Like Making Love”, “Too many people”, and “‘Sugarfree’’ to name a few. The last album released was “Best Of Pauline Henry”. Through out my career as a recording artist I was signed to the now relaunched SonyBMG for recording and publishing.

Among my many influences are Marvin Gaye, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Rachelle Farrell, Dream Girls, Kiri Te Kanawa, Maria Callas, The Doors, U2, D’Angelo, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Jimmy Hendrix and Tina Turner.

FRESH MATERIAL

I am so excited the growth of my new album ‘’HEROES” which is in the early development stages. The self penned songs pay homage to musical legends, while reflecting my own career journey on the past year leading to the creative recordings. The musical direction of the album is tinged with a classical orchestral feel touched with vocal soulful overtones.

Being a lover of live instrumentation such as live strings, piano, hammond organ, double base, saxophone, base, drum, I believe the sultry ground breaking grooves and melodies from which the organic process will emerge, to create a good energy and vibe sound..

I look forward to sharing and my career material and exciting new songs on the live circuit very soon.

I am always on the lookout for new and exciting song writers and producers.

NEW VENTURES

Intellectual Property Focus Group.

After my departure from SonyBMG, I took a hiatus from music in 1996 to pursue a second career in Law. Eight years later I holds a Bachelors Degree in Law and a Masters Degree in Intellectual Property Law. In an effort to promote fairness for musicians I conduct progressive lectures in schools, colleges and universities promoting the protection of music and creative ideas in the digital world. Record labels, musical academies and individuals have all employed my services in assisting artists in developing their full potential both as a singer and a performer. I have worked with the likes of Keith Flint “The Prodigy,” Ms Dynamite, and “Appleton Sisters” before and during recording sessions and live tours. Results are Dynamic, Fast and Effective.
