Charlene Williams

Charlene, Madame “C”, has been working on this whale of an arrangement for quite some time. It began as a transcription project. That’s when the student listens to a favorite recording of an artist and writes down each note they play on manuscript paper. So after a few months of doing that Charlene finally set out on learning the music from the written page. Then she got to memorize all nine pages. She’s been a really trooper during this whole project and is the most delightful, focused and committed adult student that any teacher could ever want to have. We’re sending a copy of the transcription to Mr. Zingg in Switzerland where boogie woogie piano is quite the rage.
