FIRST: A Simple Message.
Romans 3:23 it tells us,
“All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard.” ALL have sinned; that means that every single one of us have messed up. None of us are perfect. No matter how good you THINK you are, no matter how “Religious” or “Spiritual” you may be you’ve messed up. None of us are perfect.
So, if we’ve all sinned what’s the penalty? Romans 6:23 says,
“The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” So, this means that our sin has to be paid for. We can either pay for it ourselves or let Jesus pay for it; because he ALREADY DID pay for it by His death on the cross (and through His Resurrection).
Well, how do we do that? How do we make that transaction? How do I take my “sin debt” and give it to God so that He can pay for it?
Romans 10:9-13 says this,
“For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it s by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. As the scriptures tell us, ‘Anyone who believes in Him will not be disappointed.’ Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They all have the same Lord, who generously gives his riches to all who ask for them. For ‘Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
That’s how you come to God. It’s by confessing with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and believing your heart that God IS who HE SAYS He is.
If you’re ready to do that…to begin a relationship with God just pray this simple prayer and express it from your OWN HEART. Just open your heart to Christ as you offer your life to God right NOW:
Say, “Dear Jesus, I believe you died on the cross. And I believe that God raised you from the dead on the third day. I confess Lord, that I’m a sinner. I’ve done things that are wrong. I’ve done things that have violated your standard. I ask you God to forgive me. I ask you Lord, to come into my heart. Be my leader and be my friend. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

YOU’RE INVITED TO CHURCH THIS SUNDAY!
Summit Church is home of the 29-minute sermon. Don’t you hate it when people waste your time? When we go to the movies, a restaurant or a doctor’s office we often evaluate the quality of that product or service by the efficiency of their presentation and how that business or service values our time.
At Summit Church we value YOUR TIME. We commit to NOT wasting your time with pointless announcements, rambling sermons or song-services that fail to inspire. In fact, we recognize that most Americans have opted out of church because they value family time more highly than going to some out-dated, highly-theological-but-irrelevant sermon.
Summit Church’s strategy for Sunday messages are designed to strengthen your family, through practical messages on marriage and dating, Parenting, Financial Principles from the Bible, Expanding your leadership and Understanding the foundations of Christianity. That, combined with contemporary and classic worship encounters create a powerful combination. Small Groups and various Bible Studies are designed for deeper and longer times of growing closer to God but Sunday Mornings are designed to be quick and inspiring. We know you want to enjoy Colorado with your family. So, start your Sunday right with a quick visit to Summit!

Everyone Take the 29-Minute SERVOLUTION Challenge!
Making your world a better place starts with you. It starts with a belief that God made you for a purpose and a calling. That calling should NOT be centered around you, but around the needs of OTHERS. It also means partnering up with like-minded people in serving.
So, in short take the 29-Minute SERVOLUTION Challenge:
As a PERSON that wants to make a difference in my world I commit:
I commit to grow in my understanding of God; to embrace my purpose and calling.
I commit to focus on the needs of others rather than myself (recognizing that “He/she who refreshes others will themselves be refreshed.”)
I commit to spend at LEAST 29 minutes a week in practical, selfless and outwardly focused Servolution (in my local church, my school, my neighborhood, etc. Meeting the needs of others through benevolence and/or acts of kindness).
If you’re taking the 29-Minute-Challenge email us (below) and let us know....
Pastors: Take the 29-Minute Challenge!
Pastor, you can do it! Several years ago, I was challenged by my good friend Greg Stier (at Dare2Share.org Ministries to never miss an opportunity to share the gospel at the end of each and every talk). I’ve never regretted my commitment to that. In fact, hundreds of people have come into the kingdom through that simple commitment.
So, in short take the 29-Minute Challenge:
As a Leader in Christ’s Church I commit:
I commit to share the simple but essential message of Salvation at every speaking opportunity a receive.
I commit as a Minister to be involved in a weekly delivery of God’s word and to not wasting my audiences’ time (and more importantly God’s time) by making it my weekly goal to keep my messages and sermons UNDER 29 minutes a week (understanding that I may not always be able to do it...it’s a goal).
I commit to spend at LEAST 29 minutes a week in practical, self-less and outwardly focused Servolution (meeting the needs of others through benevolence and/or acts of kindness).
Pastor, if you’re taking the 29-Minute-Challenge email us and let us know....
