BOARDING AND DISEMBARKING
Boarding will usually start early afternoon. You need to ensure that you allow plenty of time for embarkation procedures; these involve being issued with a security pass to allow you to board and depart the vessel at each port. Also they will take and check your passport, you must ensure that you have the necessary visas for all the places visited, the majority will be arranged by the ship under a blanket visa scheme, but destinations like Taiwan and Vietnam may have restrictions for certain passport holders. If you do not have the correct visa the ship will not take you and there will be no compensation.

Disembarking the vessel will start after the Customs and Immigration officers have “cleared” the vessel and is usually about an hour or two after arrival at the disembarking port. The shipping company often arranges free transfers to the nearest International airport but not always. Check with the PURSER’S OFFICE when on board.
