My parents are Austrian, born in Vienna; my father served two tours in Vietnam. I lived in 16 places in 3 countries during the first 22 years of my life, attending 3 different high schools. (Call me Ishmael... )
Although I spent considerable time in research labs, my career is now focused on clinical Gyn Oncology. I am the Medical Director of the Virginia Piper Genetic Risk Assessment Center, and I am currently one of the busiest and most experienced daVinci robotic surgeons in Arizona. Having graduated from the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program, however, I remain a scientist at heart, and collaborate closely with those who offer Phase I/II clinical trials and are seeking innovative targeted therapies for recurrent disease (see TargetNow).

I have been in practice here since 1998, and we have been working the long hours as a team since 2002.
