The NZDRC is New Zealand’s only site dedicated to research on death, dying and bereavement focussed on or with relevance to New Zealand social practices.

The  impetus behind NZDRC is  to advance understanding  of the social dimensions of death, dying and bereavement in New Zealand.

Our current project, Final Arrangements, focuses on the cost of funerals in New Zealand.
