Squires Reaches Half Century
“.....I’m still the best golfer ever to have played on Tour .”

Despite not enjoying the best of form in 2011, Arran Squires continues to set the standard, being the most decorated golfer in the modern era with no fewer than six Major victories and three Order of Merit titles to his name.

Squires remains the only golfer on tour to have completed a “Career Slam” of all four Majors, the highlight being his hat-trick of Masters victories.

Surprisingly, with Squires never having won in a field of greater than seventeen, doubts remain about his suitability as the Tour’s greatest ever golfer.

Record Breaker: Arran Squires “6&3”

Putting Master Class: Dine finishes up at the 18th (Ailsa).

Career

“A lot of people have questioned my record over the years, but at the end of the day, there’s not one golfer out there who has a better head to head record in the Majors. I think that speaks for itself,” countered Squires. “My records are there to be broken, but until they are, I’m still the best golfer ever to have played on Tour”.
