From midday Saturday 27th Alyth Scouts & Explorers hiked continuously for 24 hours in relay teams

The Scouts were undertaking the event as part of the Scottish Scout Super Trouper challenge, whilst the Explorer Scouts were raising money for Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre in Dundee.

The teams managed 14 hikes in the 24 hour period, and adding up all the Kilometres that each of the Scouts hiked we ended up with a massive total of 607Km.

Congratulations to all who took part in Boot 24, not only for the Kilometres, but for the spirit in which they were hiked.
