Experiential Knowledge Special Interest Group

Welcome

Welcome to the webpages of EKSIG.

In response to the requests of its international membership, the Design Research Society (DRS) is setting up Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as a way of providing its members with a forum for their interests and to engage and work actively together around the world.

The Special Interest Group on Experiential Knowledge (EKSIG) is the first Special Interest Group of the DRS.

EKSIG is concerned with the understanding and role of knowledge in research and professional practice in design in order to clarify fundamental principles and practices of using design practice within research both with regard to research regulations and requirements, and research methodology.

NEW:   The first major event that EKSIG will be running is the

            EKSIG International Conference 2009.
