Plontu Handbokin: An Artist’s Guide to the Wildflowers of Iceland

In 2007, Bea Nettles spent the long daylight hours of June and July as the artist-in-residence at Hafnarfjordur Institute of Culture and Fine Arts. This book is the result of hours of photographing and identifying flowers with their Icelandic and Latin names. Detailed shots of forty plants appear with images of the landscapes where they were found on her travels from the Reykjavik graveyard, to Akureyi and the Westman Islands.
