I walked through Gamla Stan (the Old Town), exploring the labyrinth of hidden streets, walkways and shops. There were several shops filled with unique textiles and artwork. I saw this color combination of blues, cedar, brown, gray, black and silver in some of the pieces and really liked it. This is a handfelted piece which incorporates knitting and metal and relates to the architecture and atmosphere of Stockholm: the various steeples were particularly memorable.
