"N-S-I" was formed by Néstor E. Barolín and his wife Elisabeth Bándula Barolín, not with the purpose of creating an empire,
but with a distinctive purpose to "Serve the Optical Industry".
By "Service", we mean and purpose to care with the utmost from our part, to the necessities of the customer, providing high quality products at a reasonable price. This is combined with prompt delivery and with a courtesy,
we believe, to be much deserved by the customer.

To the above, we must also add that because of our belief in God as The Creator and in Jesus Christ being our Savior, we, as sinners and as human that we are, find pleasure to be an instrument in declaring (Without being forceful or obnoxious) the good news to others that there is a wonderful and bright eternal life beyond the grave for those who in repentance come to acknowledge Jesus Christ as their savior and as the only hope for salvation from an awaiting Hell.
As we find ourselves struggling to be good citizens, we find that whatever good we can impart, is being done
because of our faith and only because
God sustains us in our daily chores.
Nestor Systems was founded in 1971 under the name of "Nestor Industries”. It was later incorporated under the name of Nestor Systems International, Ltd. (N-S-I).
N-S-I started in 1971 doing research, design and building special equipment for the “Precision Optics Industry” including the medical and space technology fields. About a year later, through its division, “Ophthalmic Accessories”, N-S-I began manufacturing and supplying the ophthalmic industry with replacement parts for the then existing machines on the market. This lead to redesigns in parts that improved many components for these machines. N-S-I then expanded its sales to all fifty States, Canada, Mexico, and customers including those in Europe, the Middle East,
Australia and New Zealand.
Today, many labs find that these redesigns have improved quality and production leading to increased revenue by delivering better quality lenses at a lower cost.
At N-S-I we take pride in serving the customer with respect, honesty, courtesy and the appropriate service needed. During the years, this has created a special reputation and trust that our customers find reassuring.
