Advocating reforms through all available channels to provide children in need with nurturing environments. Where all other paths have been exhausted we support ethical and transparent adoption in line with the Hague Convention. When adoption is the best option available for a child, we want Australia to have best practices in all areas.

We wish to raise awareness of the global crisis of abandoned children, and illustrate how anyone can transform the life of a child in need. We support a number complying global projects for orphaned, vulnerable or  marginalised children. We wish to encourage more Australians to become involved with an orphan project and to re think how we can better provide for the huge number of children without families. The sheer numbers mean adoption is just a tool not a solution. We need to ensure “all our children” have every opportunity to realise their potential as future contributors to our world/ our society.

We support and sponsor National Adoption Awareness Week ( Nov 16 - 22 ) 2009 to work towards a better understanding and awareness of adoption in Australia.
