First, the process will include a consultation at the families home where parental philosophies, values, rules, discipline strategies, meal planning and routines will be discussed.  After clarifying all these areas, the information will be used to start creating the Household Manual.  NKH then will help create structure and order using scheduling and behavior incentives that will promote success for the household as a whole. 

For families hiring or needing nanny training will use the Household Manual as a tool to set expectations and professional nanny standards.  NKH has a detailed list of professional Nanny Standards and can be modified for each individual family.

For Homes just needing organizational structure. We will discuss what is working well, what’s not working well.  What is most important to you? What’s causing the problem? Then NKH will devise a plan to make your home a desirable and functional living environment. 

A little about me...

My name is Tonya Bilodeau. I began my career teaching special education to children with emotional behavior disorders and a variety of other disabilities. After teaching special education for four years, I decided to make a career change and work as a professional nanny. The professional nanny career lead me to opportunities to work as child care provider, personal assistant, meal planner and a household organizer.  In addition to providing me the experience of working with other highly trained household staff as a team creating an efficient household.
