I am not a big person. 5 foot ZERO and 118-- i guess I could be smaller, like Laina only weighs 103 or something, but she’s tough as nails and anyway, I’m not a big person, but I get the job done most of the time. So I get mad when someone else doesn’t pull their own weight and makes my job even harder. They say, co-ordinate it with the place where you are getting your ice tires installed-- the place is my garage! I am doing it and I can not haul my ice tires to a place in my MINI!! ARGHHHH-- I think that was about the time that guy disconnected me to regroup with his team.
I set everything up in a nicer part of the 25°F day and got ready to change the tires-- put on the ice tires, and really a week too late, but I go through the steps and loosen the lugs and then what? my lock nut key is missing... After talking to three different people, a man got on the phone from the Flow Mini Dealership in Winston Salem and said he was going to take care of me and he found my key and he’s fed-ex-ing it but I almost didn’t get up that icy hill tonight. What a scare.
We got part way up and stuck three times and I was sliding down backwards to get another start at it; why did we wait till the last try to pray?
Actually, I pray quite a bit- more than anyone else I know right now, and me and Na’Ua prayed together and we got a good start and we went straight up the hill and Na’Ua said, “God is pushing us right up the hill!” It was great and we rejoiced and promised to pray more and Na’Ua said, “God is the Winner!” Yes and we love being on His team :)
But the rabbits are cold. the water is frozen and they don’t have enough to drink; I changed over to crocks but the mini rex have eaten so many of the bowls, that I’m short on crocks and we stopped by K-mart on the way but they only had two! I looked at Amber and said, “My life is hard sometimes” but it’s not really that hard; there are just things that don’t seem to work.
I gave the does with kits and the breeding does and bucks the water first and the Flemish and then I gave to every doe and then to the bucks who were asking, but there were still several rabbits that only have the frozen bottles and do not have a crock tonight. tomorrow we will go to the other stores to find all the crocks we need, and six extra for the FG kits, as they are soon to be weaned.
I think I may have found Michael Prochaska; oh what a dream come true to see him again. At least I found one of his brothers and I left a note with him and with a few fb people with the same name, but I couldn’t tell if he was really there. I will have to drive to Tennessee to see him if I have found him. He will make me feel stupid, I know-- he is so smart and has read and studied so much. He is really very smart for a guy and ecologically sound and beautiful, and I’ll have to learn a new language to talk to him, but OH MY-- how I do get away from myself It will be nice to see him, and I will want to, if I have found him. okay people, the high today was 30°F and the low is 17°F and it’s snowing, with snow on the ground and ice and it’s been snowing since the first and not melting without salt; drive safely and love each other; be kind to each other-- and be nice to ME!! ha ha
