I got my first Flemish Giant, Money Bunny, (light grey) from Pam Arthur, PJ’s Rabbitry, and it was love at first site.  Since then, I got English Angoras-- a dream since childhood, more Flemish, Holland lops and Mini Rex. Now I have more than 100 rabbits!

After my first shows, I realized I needed to increase density with food additives, some new genes, and a change of my grooming techniques and schedules.  I have been spending time clarifying goals as well.  I want to improve the breeds that I carry.  For Angora, this means wool density and quality, body type and disposition.

In the Flemish Giant, I’m looking for balance and size, thick sturdy bones, and long ears--  and small round plush coats with small ears for the Mini Rex, but in both of these breeds, the calm disposition is so important.

So the goals are improve the breeds (including disposition), improve my garden soil, enrich the rabbits condition with cleanliness, exercise and fun, connect with the community, and the rabbit world at large, run a sustainable rabbitry, develop a cottage industry, and make valuable contributions to my world.
