    <richText>what happened??&#xD;well the pedigrees have all the answers-- there is light grey and steel grey in the mother&#x2019;s pedigree.&#xD;&#xD;I&#x2019;ve done some more research on this and it seems that the Steel allele is responsible due to linked genes, this phenotype with black coat and slate eyes, or marbled blue eyes, or other than brown eyes.&#xD;&#xD;The Standards of Perfection lists that the Black Flemish have brown eyes and deviation is a disqualification on the table, but anyone who wants to breed black, steel and light grey would at least sometimes be seeing this combination&#xD;</richText>
