Once I can recognize a health issue, the treatment is usually known, and most of the medication can be purchased at the feed store, but learning to recognize issues in a timely manner for a novice can seem to be too late.  That is, sometimes by the time I can tell something is wrong, it is very wrong; but I’m getting better at seeing the first signs of trouble, and I suggest anyone raising EA learn to see them as soon as they appear.
