Justice for Sarajevo will map, document, and question international justice and its value in creating lasting peace in the aftermath of humanity’s worst crimes.  The siege of Sarajevo offers a unique and powerful lens through which to to examine these important questions.

It’s been almost 14 years since the siege was lifted and this fall Radovan Karadzic will face an international tribunal to answer for his crimes  His testimony and the trial itself will bring old wounds to the the surface once again and will force an examination of the progress, and the lack of it, toward a lasting peace since those dark days

The struggle for the future is rooted in the past and we’ll meet the men and women at the heart of that struggle today.
