I started photography in college using my daddy’s old Pentax. I took slide film as my preferred medium. I held onto the 35mm until my son was born in 2010. I still keep my old cameras around, but have finally switched to digital for everyday use.

As a single mom on a budget, taking my own baby photographs was the best option for our family. After a couple years working with friends and family, I decided to offer other families on a budget affordable, family photography as well.

I do not have fancy equipment or a studio. I prefer to capture babies in their home or wherever they are most comfortable. This keeps them at ease and encourages their true personality to shine through.

I am a mom who loves taking pictures. I get kids. I understand their quirks and I think capturing them on film should reflect their unique personalities rather than a pose.
