How do I upload my song for you to mix?

What is the turnaround time for a mix?

Consolidate all your audio tracks and put them into one folder.  Let me know the tempo (BPM).  If you need help with consolidating your files, write me and I’ll do my best to walk you through it.

Then upload the folder using a simple FTP program like YouSendIt.  Use the email address above as the destination.

Most of the time the first mix is the best.  In those rare instances where you may want a tweak here or there we will do up to 3 re-mixes to ‘get it right’.  PLEASE NOTE: If you want more than one final mix for the same song... each version will be considered its own, individual final mix and billed accordingly.

Usually 1-3 days from when we receive payment.

Will I get progress reports on my mix?

I will send you an mp3 of the mix for your approval.  Once you approve the mix, I’ll send the master file along with an MP3.  In all you will have 2 files... an mp3 and a 24 bit master file.

Because I am a songwriter first, I know the pleasure AND the pain of writing and recording your own original music.  I begin by LISTENING to what you have.  Then, ASKING what you want to achieve musically.  Through some discussion I hope to learn about your INFLUENCES and where you are coming from musically.  Then I help you get there by tightening lyrics, making sure the chord structure is interesting and fresh, seeing that the song arrangement has energy and purpose.  Finally, I create an environment where you and/or your band are able to perform at your best.
