Welcome to the website of the Hispanic Heritage Committee-
Rhode Island, Inc. (HHC-RI). We are a dedicated group of volunteers ready to promote, encourage and preserve the art, history, heritage and cultural beliefs of the Spanish-speaking communities of Rhode Island.


In 1989, the HHC-RI launched the first statewide celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.Today we continue to provide support to R.I. Latino artists, events, activities and programs through our advocacy efforts and through this website. We also continue to promote and provide resources for the annual observation of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
