• In 1989, the HHC-RI launched the first statewide celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Today we continue to provide support to R.I. Latino artists, activities and programs through our advocacy efforts and through this website.

Love Letters to Our Loved Ones


The RI Latino Oral History Project is looking for letters that were exchanged between someone who moved to Rhode Island at any time in their lives and a family members, friend or colleague back home in any of the Latino American countries.
