Previous projects
Paul Emile and Jim Mortimore have collaborated on a number of education and issue focused projects with London based organizations.
These include;
Studio 3 Arts, a combined arts voluntary organization working with local community members to explore social issues
•Sustainable Development educational video, 2002
•Sexual Health educational video, 2003
•Big Deal drug and Alcohol awareness initiative, 2003, 04, 05, 06
•Self-esteem project with young people with physical and sensory disabilities, 2003
•Storytelling workshop with children with behavioral and learning difficulties, 2004
•‘Cutter’ Half Moon Young People’s Theatre, London based theatre company developing skills and awareness through theatre and the creation of it. Touring performance addressing bullying and self harm, 2004. A resource pack was produced to support GCSE teaching curriculum.
•Youth Music, Multi tracking, composition and arrangement workshop at the Purcell Rooms in 2003.
•Rockshop Tutors, Paul and Jim participated in performance workshops at the Roundhouse in Camden 2000, 2001 in association with Kingsway College and Haverstock school. The performances demonstrated the use of the Roundhouse as a facility for young people in the local and london wide area, and contributed to the funding and redevelopment of the Roundhouse in 2006.
•Orpheus Centre, as tutors of the Rockshop Paul and Jim have had the pleasure of working with young people with disabilities. Facilitating song-writing workshops, performance and band members of a touring production through 2000-2003.
