Chugging along

So it’s about 3 more weeks before we will be able to find out if it’s a boy or a girl. After that, it’ll be time to pick out names. We don’t have any preference if it’s a boy or a girl, but I woldn’t mind if it’s another girl. It sure would save us a lot of money on clothes - and they go through a lot of it ;).

So today, we went to get Jalen Rose and Jimmy King’s autograph. Those that don’t know, they’re part of the Michigan Fab Five. One of Vinny’s item on his “to do list” has finally been crossed out. After 18 years, he finally got to meet his two favorite players in person. It was just supposed to be Jalen, but he suprised everyone by bringing Jimmy with him. I don’t think Vinny got rid of that smile yet.

Other than that, everything is chugging along fine. I’ll update everyone when we find out the sex....can’t wait!!!!

Life has been hectic! New house, move in, new baby...and the list goes on. But it’s time I get back into the groove of things and back on track.
So, I’m at the end of the first trimester...3 more to go. I have to say this pregnancy has been way different from River. With River...no symptoms besides being extremely tired. With this one, you name it, I got it....nausea, check. Morning sickness...check. Food/smell sensitivity...check. Luckily, most of the symptoms are starting to subside. I don’t know how some women make through their whole pregnancy with the constant nausea. I could hardly handle 3 months of it, let alone all nine months.
Well, hope everyone had a good Christmas! River wants to say thank you for all her goodies and gifts. She’s having fun with all her new toys and books.

Hello everyone. I’m back again. Mommy and daddy take me to the mall to take picture with santa because they say I like santa from last year. But when I got there, him is look so scary this time and I don’t want to take picture with him. Daddy say its ok and he can make it look like I take picture with Santa this year. I’m is help him do it on computer. it look real?

Anyways, this year I get to open my own presents and i’m so excited. I’m is already got some gifts that mommy put under the tree. I’m is try to shake the presents to see what I got, but Mommy get mad and give me timeout. I’m is so hate timeout. i like it much better when daddy spank me in the but. Him think it hurt me but it don’t cuz I have diaper and I preten to cry...lol.

Mommy say it only 5 more days, but I dont know how long that is....hopefully it real soon.

Got to go for now....but MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!!!

Looks like River is gonna have to share attention on this blog, now. Due date is set at July 6, 2010.

We’ve been neglecting this blog for a while - with the move in the new house - we’ve been pretty busy. Now with this, we’ll try to keep everyone posted and update more often.

Our New House

Yippeee!!! We are now first time homeowners. Just closed on our new house today. We are so excited. The house is 1562 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. There’s a highway right behind us, which we didn’t like at first. But Patrick, (Tido’s husband), brought it up to us that the highway noise can sound like surf crashing on the beach. Sure enough, it does and now we’re OK with it.
Besides the kitchen, which needs a whole facelift, the house is in pretty good shape. It just needs a little fixing here and there. Another bonus is the elementary and middle school is a block away.

I’m is come home from tha doctor and guess wat I saw. Daddy is hook me up and put a flat screen on my crib. Him even hook up the ps3 so I can play Call of duty4. I’m is good and I’m can pwn all my cousins.

So one day, grandma from hewston call and I tell her wot daddy did. But then her say.... so wot, her can skool me.... and i was shocked to here. I say OK,....git online and we is play then.
Next thing u know, I pwn grandma many times and after 20 games, her is quit. Her is say her head hurt and has to cook dinner for granddad. I think i know why grandma quit, maybe cuz I win her 17 times and 13 of the win was from headshot kill....thats why her head hurt...lololol.

I dong thing anyone can mess with me. Dong beleeve me? check out the screencap of my stats. Look at my number of kills and number of deaths and figur out my ratio... (thats rite, 2.4 to 1). You is think u can get that? also look at my headshot kills....thanks grandma...bwahahaha. I’m is hope grandma not mad for getting pwned.

Oh boy, little River is going to rack up my minutes and text messaging. She’s love walking around with the phone in her hand, talking to whoever is willing to stay on the line with her. My goodness, the girl can talk...even though no one except for her cousin Evan can understand what she’s saying. Those two together are something else.

Her new favorite game is hide and seek. She’s pretty good at it too, she knows all my good hiding spots.

It seems as though she is learning something new everyday...and it’s anything from a new word, a funny face, or climbing on the stool to reach the counter. Yes, she’s climbing onto everything, that’s my busy body,

Back from our Hiatus

So it’s been quite some time since our last update...
Our Texas visit was fun...minus the “monster” River. She was something else while we were down there...cranky, clingy, and LOUD. That’s my baby for you. She wanted to say thank you to all her little cousins for playing with her and sharing all their toys and to her uncles, aunts, and godfathers for two awesome birthday parties.

So she definitely is walking around all on her own now. Her crawling days are officially over. Oh her new thing...she hates when anyone copies her, so when she sees her reflection, she’ll get all worked up and start yelling at herself. It’s the funniest thing....strange baby.

Texas, here we come.

Yay, mommy and daddy is take me to Houston in a few days. I’m is so excited to see all my cusins and ants and ungles again and also ong ba noi. Daddy is tell me I can swim eryday at ungle huy house. I’m is very much like to swim. I’m is working out eryday so I look good in my swim suit. I craw a lot and not eat so many cheese anymore. I’m is tell daddy to do it too, but him say him body is look great already. I dong know, but him stomach look like when mommy pregnant in piktur.

But I just cant wait...i’ll make sure to tell mommy to put up piktur of our trip when we come back. buh bai.

St Louis Part II

So here I am, back in St Louis...solo this time. I couldn’t convince Vinny to come along this time. I have to say, I can’t blame him. St Louis isn’t the most exciting city...it’s actually pretty ghetto fabulous. I wouldn’t dare venture out of the hotel by myself after 8. Nothing good ever happens here after dark.

I gotta admit, I think I’m going through separation anxiety, because I am totally going though River withdraws. I am counting down the days...2 down.

And yes, I admit it...I am one of those moms!

River Update

I still can’t believe that in about a month, my baby is turning one. Can you believe it?!? My baby is growing up.
She is one determined little girl. She likes what she likes and there are times when we can’t convince her otherwise...I guess some will call this spoiled, but we’ll just refer to this as spunk.

So she no longer likes her baby food...can’t really blame her. She’s all about big people food....if she sees you eating, she’ll stop what she’s doing and crawl up to you for some. Totally like a little puppy begging for food.

Some of her current favorite things:
Rap - yes, my baby loves her some T.I.
AT&T commercials...loves it. “More bars in more places.” She gets a kick out of it every time.
Ice cream...she can’t get enough of it.
Animal books...hippos and monkeys are her fav.

St. Lewy Update

Hello agin erywon.
So we still in St. Lewis and so far we go eat a lot. becuz mommy dong go home til late, we dong get to do much beside go out to eat. Me and daddy stay in our room all day and i watch elmo and daddy always on compuder. Him git mad at me when I say it my turn to use compuder, so he try to rock me to sleep, but I’m trix him and I dong go. then him git mad and make me play with the mirror on the door. It fun for a little bit to play with my frend in the mirror, but then I git mad at her cuz she always copy wot I do.

anyways, so far, we take bus on railroad track to go eat at Hooters on munday. Daddy buy me shirt like the girl who work there and its so cool. Then on twosday, we take bus agin and we suppose to eat at a vitnamees food, but they close so we wok close by to a thai food. It funny when we go on bus that daddy hold on him bag really tite and he look around at peeple funny. Anywasy, I dong care to go out eat cuz erywhere we go, I eat same food from jar.

So today wuz really nice and daddy and me take a wok outside and we go to store to buy some food. Him take me to some store with two number as a name, but I dong know to reed numbers, yet. wen we go there, I see lots of cool peeple sitting outside them house and the store and they drink out bottle like me. I ask daddy why they put bag on their bottle and daddy say becuz to keep bottle warm like my milk. So wen we go home, i’m is make daddy bag my bottle like people in St. Lewis. It so cool to be like people in st. lewis.

Hai erywon. Guess where we are at now? Mommy and daddy is take me to St. Luis. Mommy go for work and since daddy dong have job for a while, him and me go too. It rain ysterday and some today, so daddy dong take me anywhere yet. we did wok to union station today for lunch while mommy at work. I’m is tell daddy to put up some more pickturs in the album.

St. luis is sooo nice....they even have special parking for little babies like meeee.

My Little Peanut

So River had her 9 month check up last week. She was a trooper...she got a shot and didn’t even shed a tear, but you should have seen the look she gave the nurse.
She is now 26 inches long and weighs in at 15lb 5oz. Yes, I know, she’s a tiny one for sure. But don’t be fooled by her size, this girl is a little busy body...you cannot leave her alone for even a minute. I made that mistake and next thing I knew she was standing on top of the coffee table banging on the wall laughing. That’s right, she is now climbing onto everything.
So we’ve had to baby proof the apartment....we even bought a huge gate/fence to go around the living room. But I don’t think this gate will keep her in for long...where there is a will there is a way.
